FamousJohns.com is an entertainment and novelty directory that compiles and celebrates Johns of history, pop culture, and everyday life. All listings are for informational and commentary purposes only. Inclusion of any name does not imply endorsement, affiliation, or sponsorship.

2. Membership

(a) Membership is available for a one-time fee of $200.
(b) Membership benefits are described on the site and may be updated or modified at our discretion.
(c) “Lifetime membership” refers to the operational lifetime of FamousJohns.com. If the site ceases to operate, memberships will end.
(d) Membership fees are final and non-refundable.

3. Famous Mode & Unfamous Mode

Members may choose between:
- **Famous Mode**: Public listing, digital badge, vanity URL, and eligibility for awards. By choosing Famous Mode, you consent to have your name or information displayed publicly on FamousJohns.com.
- **Unfamous Mode**: By choosing Unfamous Mode, we will flag your name so it is excluded from public listings on the site, awards, and badges. We will make reasonable efforts to block future submissions under your name.

4. Submissions

Members and visitors may submit requests to add Johns to the directory. All submissions are subject to review and final approval by our editorial committee. We reserve the right to accept, reject, edit, or remove submissions at any time.

5. Monitoring Services

Membership may include periodic “John Monitoring,” where we scan publicly available sources for mentions of a name and notify members. This is a best-effort service only. We do not guarantee comprehensive results or the ability to remove third-party content.

6. Privacy & Data

FamousJohns.com is hosted on servers in Panama. By using this site, you consent to your personal data being transferred to and processed in Panama, the United States, and other countries where our service providers operate. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect and use information.

7. Intellectual Property

All site content, design, branding, and features are the property of FamousJohns.com. You may not reproduce, distribute, or exploit site material without written permission.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States.

12. Arbitration Agreement

(a) **Agreement to Arbitrate**: Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the site, or your membership will be resolved exclusively through final and binding arbitration, not in court.
(b) **Location & Rules**: Arbitration will take place in the State of Wyoming under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA).
(c) **Costs**: Each party shall bear its own arbitration costs, legal fees, and expenses.
(d) **Waiver of Jury Trial and Class Actions**: By agreeing to arbitration, you waive the right to a trial by jury and agree not to participate in class actions or class arbitration.
(e) **Exceptions**: This arbitration agreement does not prevent either party from seeking injunctive relief in court to protect intellectual property, confidential information, or data security.
